Kimberly Franklin was such a sweet girl when I knew her. She was already a pretty recognizable girl in porn but she was still basically a shy girl. This is my favorite picture of her. We are shooting out in my sun room which looks on a lane way and an old cottage that was having some stonework done. Suddenly Kim sees the workmen and she becomes so self-conscious. I love the totally innocent look of her as she crouches to hide from the workmen. This from a girl who at the time was filmed fucking a whole football team. It shows the contrast between a girl’s real persona and her working persona.
In 2000 I was laid off my job. In 2000 I discovered that the woman I had left my wife for was cheating on me. The new millenium would be a new beginning for me. I packed up and moved out of the house I was sharing with the cheating bird. I stored all my belongings and headed east on a road trip. When the land ended at the ocean I took the new bridge to Canada’s smallest province. I spent many a lovely day, alone, walking the deserted sandy beaches, working on my tan and composing a poem to the woman who had hurt me.
She fell for a guy that she met on a government study tour. I was home taking care of her kids, whom I love, while she was fucking this guy in much the same way I had been fucking her on some other government trip while her husband was home taking care of their kids. The guy promised birdie that he would leave his wife and 6 kids. He didn’t. I vowed I would never cheat in a relationship again. (To all you cheaters out there, If it isn’t working out for you; either suck it up or confront it. But don’t cheat. It hurts so many people including you.) I never sent her my poem.
But on those lovely, late spring Atlantic beachs, I composed not only grieving poetry but ideas for what to do next in life. I kept a notebook. I wanted something I could do from home and a home that could be anywhere. The internet seemed like a place to look. I didn’t have much familiarity with the net. I had a computer on my desk at work but computers were new and my secretary basically printed stuff out for me and I would pass my handwritten responses to her to enter in the computer.
Computers would be essential to any work at home. What in 2000 was making money on the net? Porn. And that was about it; Amazon was still several years away from making a profit. There may have been other businesses on the net but porn was the biggest money earner and had been for several years and was growing. I took a look at at a bunch of adult sites, mostly pictures and most a little too hard for my taste. I thought I could do as well. I wanted a web site. I emailed a number of site developers. The all came back with blah blah blah. But one came back asking me intelligent questions about things I needed to think about. She had already been in the adult business 8 years and she liked my idea for a panty site. So she became pantygirl the webmaster of Panty Cuties, my first site. Panty Girl convinced me that pictures where king and in 2000, given the cost of bandwidth, they were. But I still made movies.
I soon learned the easy money days of porn on the internet were over.
I could make money but the costs were high and suddenly they went higher when VISA decided that they would only deal with companies that were incorporated in the United States. On top of the $1000 to incorporate, VISA took $750 as a sign up fee and $375 annually. My small amateur site couldn’t afford the overhead and VISA was 80% of the market. So Panty Cuties slid under the umbrella of an Adult Verication Site where it sits as an archive to my early days in the adult business and where it gives you access to 1000’s of other adult sites, hundreds of them being panty sites.
But to keep the focus on Panty Cuties for a bit. Celeste, the first cutie, became well known on the net as Ravon. The second cutie I shot achieved a similar reknown but in the harder end of the adult world. Her name is Kimberly Franklin.
