I just deleted 1000 comments from the stupid ugly Russian spammers. One time I approved 100 of them thinking I would approve them all and hold the fucking Russian thugs up to ridicule with their thousand comments on a single blog entry. It backfired. As soon as I did that I got 100 immediate follow up responses. So the easy way of dealing with the fucking stupid brutish Russian thug spammers was simply to close the comments to the Christine Young post.

Readers of this blog will have noticed that updates have become less regular. Blame it on stupid ugly spamming Russian thugs. I love to get comments but for the last month some stupid ugly spamming Russian thugs have been assaulting me with hundreds of spam comments every day. I am tired of deleting them each time I come here to write a blog.
I am a child of the cold war. Of course i grew up distrusting Russians. I liked Gorbachev. He even waved back at me when I waved to him in Ottawa. But the thug mentality unleashed by the fall of communism now so rampant on the net has awakened those dark stereotypes and generalizations I have of the Russian brute. The bear seems so apt a symbol of that brutish mentality. When content is stolen by Russians they ignore DMCA complaints.
I have been spammed constantly in my 9 years on the net but I have never been spammed as aggressively as by these stupid ugly spamming Russian thugs. Why ugly? What they are doing is ugly and aggressive and ugly is the brutish way. Why stupid? Because their spam is never seen and only aggravates the owner of the site they are spamming to the point where there will no longer be any more updates until the spamming stops. Who knows how long it will be before they point their spamming computer at some other hapless site and leave me alone.
My apologies to the Russian people (particularly my Russian models, Katia and Katrina) but these thuggish acts by your compatriots are contributing to the deteriorating opinion that I have of Russians.
And my apologies to readers of this blog. If you can no longer find it on the web in the future it is because it was just easier to unplug the site that to deal with the spam.
