Slut, bitch, whore. I hate these words. I hate the misogyny of much of the porn world. One of the ways of getting traffic to a porn site is by posting galleries or samples from your site. It can be a very cost effective way of gaining sales. Many places will post your galleries for free. My favorite is the hun. When I started in this business a female webmaster explained how to make the most productive galleries. The text is as important as the images. You want to use key words that your audience will respond to. She had been in the business for sometime and had carefully researched the most effective and affective terms. Leading the list were words like bitch and whore and slut. Slut was the top word for traffic generation. I refused to use those words when describing the woman in my sites. “You will lose traffic”, I was told.

I have never thought of women as sluts, even in their most wanton states. The words just reek of judgement and insult. There are no equivalent words to apply to males which is why the term is now used with males. For example, I know some male ‘pain sluts’. I have no problem with the adjective. Slutty behavior can be erotic. It is the generalized application to women and its demeaning intent that I find objectionable. I cruise all the tube sites out of a general interest in porn but also out of necessity to hunt down works stolen from mine. It is embarassing to maledom to see the way in which women are described and presented.
You will find no sluts whores or bitches on my sites. You will find intelligent, confident girlfriends, daughters, sisters and moms; beautiful young women with the courage to be themselves, open and vulnerable.
