As I contemplate the subject of today’s posting, I am sitting here consuming three drugs; a psychotropic, a central nervous system stimulant and a central nervous system depressant. That is to say, I am smoking a joint, while drinking a coffee and sipping a cognac. In the background an ancient version of Video Edit Magic is chugging away, slowly cutting up a video into low and high bandwith segments for the next update of my panty site. It grinds away slowly, not because of the ancient software, but because of my ancient computer now bogged down by too many but nevertheless essential programs like Premier and Photoshop. Four years old is ancient for a computer used for video editing purposes. Software has become very resource intensive.
And my video camera is broken. It only lasted two years. I have had bad luck with a couple of Canon products that became unusable only a few months past the warranty. And they are expensive to repair.
The adult busines has changed with the advent of tube sites condoning theft. And of course the more youthful users of the internet have grown up believing everything on the net should be free, hence the popularity of torrents. It may be impossible to make money in this business when you are a tiny operation like mine.
So friends of this blog I invite you to support it’s continued existence by buying or renting one of my videos or getting a membership in my site. Let me remind you that I do requests. So far only one person has taken me up on the offer.

Outside there is a heavy fog and an unusual number of drunks for a Tuesday night. The side streets of the Plateau wear I live are festooned with Hallowe’en decorations, little pumpkin and goblin lights, gravestones, hay bales, witches and monsters. Quebecers are nuts for decorating their homes at Hallowe’en. It is an orange version of Christmas. Tonight would be a perfect night for Hallowe’en. An eerie heavy fog and temperatures that for this time of year in Montreal might be considered balmy. No need to wear an overcoat over the costume. lol.
